US energy firms injected 74 billion cubic feet of natural gas into storage to 3,853 bcf during the week that ended October 24th, ahead of expectations of a 71 billion build. With the increase, stocks were 0.8% higher than the corresponding period of the previous year and 4.6% above the current five-year average.
