30 October 2025, 14:44  Cyprus: Industrial Output Growth Slows in August.

Industrial production in Cyprus rose by 0.8% year-on-year in August 2025, easing from a 1.8% increase in the previous month. This marked the weakest growth in industrial activity since a contraction in November 2024, as output slowed for manufacturing (1.7% vs 3.9%) and water supply and materials recovery (3.3% vs 8.2%). At the same time, the decline softened for electricity supply (-2.6% vs -8.0%). In contrast, production declined further for mining and quarrying. For the January-August period, industrial output was higher by 2.8% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year.
