The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Greece stood at 8.2% in September 2025, unchanged from the revised figure in the previous month. This remained the lowest level since November 2008, as the number of unemployed individuals fell by 4 thousand from a month earlier to 385.8 thousand. At the same time, employment declined by 23.6 thousand to 4.3 million. Meanwhile, the number of people outside the labor force increased by 21.6 thousand to 3.025 million.
