The Economic Confidence Index in Turkey rose slightly to 98.2 in October 2025 from 98.0 in September, the highest reading since March. Optimism strengthened in the manufacturing sector, rising 1.2% month-on-month to 102.0, while retail trade sentiment grew 3.7% to 113.2. In contrast, sentiment weakened in construction, which fell sharply 5.3% to 83.7, and the services index edged down 0.3% to 110.7. Consumer confidence also slipped slightly to 83.6, down 0.3% from September. Although the headline index remains below the neutral 100 mark, indicating a cautious economic outlook, gains in manufacturing and retail suggest pockets of resilience, particularly in commerce and industry.
