Additionally, net unemployment benefit recipients rose by 0.7 thousand to 69.4 thousand, while cash assistance recipients edged down by 0.1 thousand to 8.7 thousand. Meanwhile, the youth unemployment rate, representing job-seekers aged 16 to 24, held steady at 1.1%.
