Taiwan's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate stood at 3.35% in September, unchanged from the previous month and remaining at its highest level since April. The number of unemployed persons declined by 8,000 month-over-month to 407,000, while employment decreased by 11,000 to 11.63 million. The youth unemployment rate, which tracks job seekers aged 20 to 24, fell to 12.01% in September from an eleven-month high of 12.08% in the preceding month. Meanwhile, the labor force participation rate went down to 59.51% from 59.58% in August.
