23 October 2025, 10:20 Turkey: Consumer Confidence Hits 3-Month Low.
Turkey’s consumer confidence index fell to 83.6 in October 2025 from 83.9 in the previous month. It marked the lowest level since July, primarily due to a slight deterioration in households’ assessment of their current financial situation (67.7 vs 67.8 in August) and a weakening in optimism regarding spending on durable goods over the next twelve months (104 vs 105.7). On the other hand, consumers showed a modest improvement in their outlook for the general economic situation over the next year (78.6 vs 78) and in their expectations for their financial situation (84.2 vs 84).
