23 October 2025, 09:29 Euro Zone: European Stocks Poised for Flat Open.
European equity markets were set to open little changed on Thursday as investors braced for another batch of corporate earnings. Companies scheduled to report include Unilever, Lloyds Banking and Dassault Systemes. Meanwhile, French automaker Renault posted strong third-quarter sales, supported by solid demand for new models and higher revenue from its financial services division. Swedish automaker Volvo Cars and Finnish telecom company Nokia also posted strong profits. Elsewhere, the Trump administration blacklisted Russia’s two largest oil producers, Rosneft and Lukoil, in an effort to pressure Moscow toward peace talks over Ukraine. In premarket trade, Euro Stoxx 50 and Stoxx 600 futures hovered near the flatline.
