US stocks extended their winning streak to a third straight session on Tuesday, supported by upbeat corporate earnings. The Dow Jones climbed more than 300 points, lifted by strong earnings from Coca-Cola and 3M, both of which gained over 3% after reporting results that exceeded expectations. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 rose 0.2%, supported by solid performances from General Motors, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Danaher. Warner Bros Discovery surged as much as 10% following reports that the company is exploring a potential sale, with Netflix and Comcast cited as interested parties. GM soared nearly 15% after the automaker raised its guidance and beat third-quarter earnings expectations. Meanwhile, Danaher advanced 9% after reporting better-than-expected Q3 earnings and revenue. According to FactSet data, more than three-quarters of S&P 500 companies reporting so far have exceeded earnings expectations.
