In New York, the Dow Jones Index gained 238 points or 0.5 percent on Friday. Gains were led by American Express (7.2%), Apple (2%) and Visa (2%). Biggest losers were Caterpillar (-2.5%), Goldman Sachs (-1%) and Salesforce (-0.9%).
