The annual inflation rate in Ethiopia eased for the fourth month to 13.2% in September 2025, the softest since April 2019, compared to August's 13.6%. Price growth moderated for both food (12.1% vs 12.7% in August) and non-food products (14.8% vs 15.1%). On a monthly basis, the CPI surged by 2% in September, the steepest increase in six months, after a 1.1% increase in August.
