Industrial output in Slovenia stalled in August 2025, following a downwardly revised 0.5% gain in July. Output growth moderated in mining and quarrying (3% vs 7% in July) and fell sharply in electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (-17.9% vs -0.2%). On the other hand, manufacturing output accelerated (1.8% vs 0.5%). On a monthly basis, industrial activity declined 0.6% in August 2025, reversing the downwardly revised 1.6% growth recorded in the previous month.
