1 October 2025, 23:48 USA: Crude Oil Inventories Rise More than Expected - EIA.
Crude oil inventories in the US rose by 1.792 million barrels in the week ending September 26, more than market expectations of 1.5-million. At the Cushing, Oklahoma delivery hub, crude stocks fell by 271,000 barrels. Meanwhile, gasoline stocks increased by 4.125 million barrels, higher than expectations for a 0.5-million-barrel increase. Distillate stocks, which include diesel and heating oil, went up 0.578 million barrels, compared with forecasts for a 1 million-barrel decrease.
