Meanwhile, Banco BPM rose 2.3% following a record net profit of €1.21 billion in the first half of 2025, up 62% from the same period last year. Conversely, Unipol declined 3.3% after reporting results largely in line with expectations, at €622 million. Also, Leonardo dropped 2.6% to track losses for the defense sector amid reports that the US would agree to a Russian ceasefire deal where Russia keeps occupied territories of eastern Ukraine.
