7 August 2025, 12:42 Croatia: Producer Inflation Eases in July.
Producer prices in Croatia increased by 0.7% year-on-year in July 2025, easing from a 1.4% rise in June, which had marked the highest level since August 2023. The slowdown was attributed to softer price increases for intermediate goods (1.3% vs 1.5% in June) and capital goods (2.7% vs 2.8%), as well as a drop in energy costs (-1.1% vs 0.9%). Meanwhile, prices for durable consumer goods fell by 0.1%, matching the rate of decline seen in June. Prices for non-durable consumer goods held steady with a 1.4% increase. Excluding energy, producer prices were up 1.5%, following a 1.7% growth in June. On a monthly basis, producer prices rose by 0.5% in July, slowing from a 0.7% increase in the previous month.
