Retail sales in the Czech Republic rose by 4.5% year-on-year in June 2025, easing slightly from a downwardly revised 4.6% gain in the previous month and below market expectations of 5.0%. Sales activity rose at a softer pace for automotive fuel (11.3% vs 14.5% in May), and non-food products (5.5% vs 7.1%). Meanwhile, higher sales were seen for food, beverages and tobacco (0.8% vs 0.2%). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, retail trade rose 0.3% in June, rebounding from a 0.2% drop in the previous month.
