7 August 2025, 08:40  Japan: Foreign Reserves Falls Slightly in July.

Japan’s foreign reserves decreased by $9.35 billion to $1.30 trillion in July 2025, easing from a three-year high of $1.314 trillion in June. Total reserve assets were broken down into foreign currency reserves ($1.13 trillion), IMF reserve position ($11,084 million), SDRs ($60,089 million), gold ($89,726 million) and other reserve assets ($16,209 million). Japan's finance ministry revealed that it conducted no foreign exchange intervention operations for the period from April to June 2025.
