6 August 2025, 13:47 Czech Republic: Industrial Output Growth Slows.
Industrial production in the Czech Republic grew by 0.2% year-on-year in June 2025, slowing from a near three-year high of 2.2% in the previous month and falling short of market expectations for a 1.6% gain. This marked the softest growth in five months, as output slowed for manufacturing (1.0% vs 1.5% in May). At the same time, production dropped further for in mining and quarrying (-3.5% vs -1.5%), while output in electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply declined sharply (-9.1% vs 10.9). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial activity fell 1.1% in June, reversing a 1.6% rise in May.
