The Central Bank of Armenia held its benchmark interest rate steady at 6.75% during its August 2025 meeting, marking the third consecutive pause in its monetary easing cycle that began in June 2023. The deposit and lending rates were also left unchanged at 5.25% and 8.25%, respectively. The decision followed a slowdown in the country’s annual headline inflation, which eased to 3.9% in June from 4.3% in May.
