29 August 2025, 11:21 Poland: Inflation Cools to 14-Month Low.
Poland’s annual inflation eased to 2.8% in August 2025, the lowest since June 2024, slowing from 3.1% in July, according to preliminary estimates. The slowdown was mainly driven by a decline in fuel prices for personal transport equipment (-7.7%), partly offset by higher costs for food and non-alcoholic beverages (4.8%) and for electricity, gas and other fuels (2.3%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices declined by 0.1% in August, reversing a 0.3% increase in July.
