In Mumbai, the SENSEX Index dropped 720 points or 0.9 percent on Thursday. Losses were led by HCL Tech (-2.9%), Power Grid (-2%) and Tata Consultancy (-2%). Offsetting the fall, top gainers were Titan Company (1.1%), Larsen & Toubro (0.6%) and Axis Bank (0.5%).
