Confidence strengthened among consumers (84.3 vs 83.5 in July), services providers (111.1 vs 110.0), retailers (108.8 vs 107.9), manufacturers (100.6 vs 98.9). In contrast, sentiment deteriorated in constructors (85.3 vs 88.8).
