25 August 2025, 10:54 Spain: Producer Inflation Slows to 0.3% in July.
Producer prices in Spain rose 0.3% year-on-year in July 2025, easing from a 0.8% increase in the previous month. The slowdown was driven by moderated energy price growth, which rose 1.5% compared with 4% in June. Meanwhile, producer inflation picked up for durable consumer goods (1.7% vs 1.5%) and capital goods (1.8% vs 1.7%). Excluding energy, producer prices fell 0.5%, following a 0.7% decline in June. On a monthly basis, producer prices increased 0.8%, broadly easing from a 3.3% surge in the previous period.
