21 August 2025, 13:11  Lebanon: Inflation Eases in July.

The annual inflation rate in Lebanon eased to 14.3% in July 2025 from 15% in the previous month. The slowdown was mainly driven by slower price growth in health (4.57% vs 21.7% in June), transportation (0.9% vs 1.9%), and restaurant & hotels (11.6% vs 12.3%). In contrast, costs increased for food and non-alcoholic beverages (21.9% vs 20.8%), clothing and footwear (10.5% vs 9.7%), furnishings, household equipment and routine household maintenance (5.9% vs 3.9%), recreation, amusement, and culture (10.6% vs 8.8%), and miscellaneous goods and services (26.6% vs 26%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 1.3% in July from 0.8% in June.
