21 August 2025, 11:49 Poland: Producer Prices Fall Less Than Expected.
Producer prices in Poland decreased by 1.2% year-on-year in July 2025, less than market expectations of a 1.4% drop and easing from a 1.5% decline in the previous month. Price deflation slowed for manufacturing (-0.9% vs -1.3% in June), while it dropped further for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (-2.2% vs -1.2%), and mining and quarrying (-7.8% vs -7.7%). Meanwhile, costs for water supply and waste management remained unchanged at 2.5%. On a monthly basis, producer prices fell 0.1% in July 2025, reversing a 0.5% gain in the previous month.
