The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Luxembourg stood at 5.9% in July 2025, unchanged from the previous month. The number of unemployed persons declined by 142 month-on-month to 18,613, while total employment increased by 1,355 to 522,641. The active labor force among Luxembourg nationals grew by 623 from a month earlier to 317,000. Meanwhile, the number of outgoing resident employees remained largely unchanged at 14,048, while the number of incoming cross-border workers increased by 565 to 231,211.
