Croatia’s unemployment rate rose to 4.0% in July 2025 from 3.8% in the previous month. The number of unemployed persons increased by 4.5% month-on-month to 73.2 thousand. Meanwhile, total employment rose by 1.1% to 1.8 million, and the size of labor force grew by 1.3% to 1.8 million. In July 2024, the jobless rate was higher at 4.8%.
