In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 Index gained 387 points or 0.9 percent on Monday. Gains were led by Suzuki Motor (9.4%), Isetan Mitsukoshi (7.9%) and Mitsui Mining & Smelting (7.5%). Biggest losers were Tokyo Electric Power (-3.6%), Toho Zinc (-3.6%) and Kansai Electric Power (-2.8%).
