Industrial production in Kyrgyzstan grew by 11.6% year-on-year in July 2025, following a 10.6% increase in the previous month. This was primarily driven by a strong expansion in the mining and quarrying sector, which surged 40.7%, after a 12.4% rise in June. Conversely, output growth decelerated in manufacturing (7.6% vs 9.2% in June), electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (13.9% vs 15.8%), and water supply (31.0% vs 35.0%). For the first seven months of the year, industrial production was 11.3% higher compared to the same period last year.
