Optimism was further supported by rising expectations of a Federal Reserve interest rate cut in September. Across the bourse, gains were broad-based, with notable increases from Buzzi Unicem (+2.3%), Ferrari (+1.1%), Assicurazioni Generali (+1.2%), Prysmian (+1%), and Davide Campari-Milano (+1.1%). Index-heavy financials also rose, including Unicredit (+0.9%), Intesa Sanpaolo (+0.9%), Bper Banca (+1%), and Banca Mediolanum (+1.4%).
