14 August 2025, 13:27  Germany: DAX At Over 2-Week High.

The DAX in Frankfurt advanced for a second consecutive day on Thursday, breaking through the 24,200 threshold to reach its highest level in over two weeks. Traders focused on corporate earnings and economic data, with attention also turning to the upcoming Trump-Putin summit in Alaska. On the corporate front, Heidelberg Materials, Vonovia, MTU Aero Engines, and Airbus were among the top performers, posting gains of up to 1.7%. In contrast, Thyssenkrupp tumbled 8% after the German conglomerate slashed its full-year forecasts for investments and sales, citing subdued demand for its products. RWE dropped more than 3% as first-half results came in below market expectations.
