14 August 2025, 12:06 Serbia: Current Account Gap Narrows in June.
Serbia’s current account deficit narrowed to $308 million in June 2025 from $319 million in the corresponding month of the previous year. Goods account shortfall decreased to $423 million from $533 million in June 2024, while services account surplus slightly increased to $279 million from $269 million. On the other hand, primary income deficit rose to $629 million in June 2025 from $570 million a year earlier, while secondary income surplus fell to $465 million from $515 million. For the first half of the year, the country recorded a current account deficit of $2,210 million, compared to $1,116 million during the same period in 2024.
