12 August 2025, 13:35  Kazakhstan: Producer Inflation Hits 8-Month Low.

Producer prices in Kazakhstan rose by 5.7% year-on-year in July 2025, easing from a 5.9% increase in June and marking the lowest level since November 2024. Main downward pressures came from continued decline in prices for mining and quarrying (-2% vs. -1.6% in June), while producer inflation slowed for water and waste management services (11.8% vs. 13.2%). In contrast, manufacturing sector inflation rose to 12.1% from 11.9%, and price growth for electricity and gas supply accelerated to 17.6% from 16.8%. On a monthly basis, producer prices surged 2.1% after a 0.6% drop in June. For the first half of the year, producer prices were up 7.6% compared with the same period a year earlier.
