Slovakia’s construction output advanced by 9.1% year-on-year in June 2025, following a 2.2% increase in the previous month. This marked the second consecutive month of growth primarily driven by a rise in domestic production (8.2% vs 1.8% in May), new construction activity (5.9% vs 5.2%), and construction abroad (16.1 % vs 5%). In addition, construction activity rebounded for repairs and maintenance (15.8% vs -6.2%) and buildings (7.6% vs -2.1%). Meanwhile, output for engineering works (9.5% vs 9.8%) slowed.
