11 August 2025, 11:22  Denmark: Trade Surplus Widens in June.

Denmark’s seasonally adjusted goods and services trade surplus rose to DKK 23.1 billion in June 2025 from a downwardly revised DKK 22.3 billion in May, as exports declined less than imports. The surplus on trade in goods increased by DKK 1.9 billion in June, driven by higher exports. Conversely, the surplus on services narrowed by DKK 1.1 billion. Overall exports edged down 0.2% month-on-month to a four-month low of DKK 172.3 billion, with shipments to the US falling 4.1% to DKK 29.3 billion. Meanwhile, imports declined by 0.7% to DKK 149.1 billion. For the first half of the year, Denmark recorded a trade surplus of DKK 143.5 billion, up from DKK 131.0 billion in the same period of 2024.
