The number of foreign visitors to Turkey fell by 1.5% year-on-year to 5.77 million in June 2025, marking a second consecutive monthly decline. Notable decreases were recorded in arrivals from Bulgaria (-8.6%), the UK (-6.4%), and Poland (-2.2%). In contrast, visitors from Russia and Germany increased by 1.8% and 11.1%, respectively. Antalya was the most popular destination, accounting for 38.6% of all foreign arrivals, followed by Istanbul (28.3%) and Mugla (9.3%). For the first half of the year, total foreign arrivals edged down 1.1% from a year earlier to 21.40 million.
