Producer prices in Belgium rose 0.3% year-on-year in May 2025, reversing a 0.5% decline in the previous month. The uptick was primarily driven by price rebounds in non-durable consumer goods (1.7% vs -0.2% in April) and overall consumer goods (1.6% vs -0.2%), alongside slower declines in energy (-2.0% vs -3.8%) and durable consumer goods (-0.5% vs -0.8%). Conversely, prices reversed to a decline for intermediate goods (-0.5% vs 0%). On a monthly basis, producer prices fell 0.2% in May, following a sharper 2.0% drop the previous month.
