30 June 2025, 12:49  Poland: Inflation Edges Higher in June.

Poland’s annual inflation rate edged up to 4.1% in June from 4.0% in May, marginally exceeding market expectations of 4.0%, according to preliminary estimates. The rise was driven by higher prices for electricity, gas and other fuels, which surged 12.8%, alongside a 4.9% increase in food and non-alcoholic beverages. These upward pressures were partly offset by a 10.0% decline in fuels for personal transport equipment. On a monthly basis, consumer prices inched up 0.1% in June, reversing the 0.2% decline recorded in May.
