Expectations turned positive for orders (1.2 vs -1.1 in May), production (1.0 vs -1.3), and employment (1.0 vs -1.1). Manufacturers were also less pessimistic about the general economic outlook (-17.1 vs -20.9) and liquidity conditions (-5.9 vs -7.5). Meanwhile, concerns about price trends eased slightly (6.1 vs 6.9).
