2 June 2025, 12:26 Norway: Manufacturing Activity Recovers in May.
Norway’s DNB Manufacturing PMI rose to 51.2 in May 2025, reversing an upwardly revised and an almost five year low of 41.2 in the previous month. The production index surged 7 points to 53.4, while the new orders index jumped to 48.2 from 38.5, with domestic and export orders at 48.7 and 47.9, respectively. Additionally, the inventory index dropped by 5.4 points to 49.2, contributing positively to the headline reading. Meanwhile, the employment index edged down slightly to 52.3 and supplier delivery times shortened marginally, with the index down 0.3 points to 52.3.
