10 June 2025, 21:35  Italy: Stocks Fall as US-China Trade Talks Resume.

The FTSE MIB fell 0.6% to close at 40,207 on Tuesday, as investors monitored renewed trade negotiations between US and Chinese officials in London. US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick described the talks as “going well,” but little concrete progress has been reported. A key concern remains access to China’s rare earth minerals, which are vital for several industries. Reflecting the broader economic uncertainty, the World Bank on Tuesday downgraded its global growth forecast to 2.3% from 2.7%, marking the slowest pace since 2008 outside of recession years. On the corporate front, Leonardo (-6.3%) and Bper Banca Sondrio (-3.4%) posted the sharpest declines, while Stellantis (+5%) and Saipem (+3%) led the gains.
