10 June 2025, 19:08 Sweden: Industrial Output Rebounds in April.
Industrial production in Sweden rose by 5% year-on-year in April 2025, rebounding from a downwardly revised 3.4% fall in the previous month. This marked the first growth in industrial activity since December 2024, as output recovered for manufacturing (4.7% vs -3.5% in March) and mining and quarrying (8.5% vs -2.9%). In contrast, production declined further for electricity, gas, steam and hot water plants (-0.93% vs -0.53%). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output rose by 3.4% in April, the most since December 2024 and rebounding from a 1.6% drop in the previous month.
