Foreigners bought C$8.4 bln in Canadian securities in September, up from C$2 bln in August. CAD is firming after the data, now at 1.0417 with commodity currencies enjoying a bit of a bounce broadly in recent sessions. Commodities themselves are not bouncing at all. WTI is at $93.30, near the base of recent ranges while gold consolidates losses below $1300.
