26 July 2013, 20:00  USA: consumer confidence rose to 85.1 at the end of July vs final 84.1 in June

The Thomson-Reuters/University of Michigan reported Friday that USA consumer confidence rose to 85.1 at the end of July vs final 84.1 in June. Analysts say it is the highest reading since July 2007.
The current conditions index at the end of July lowered to 98.6 from a 6-year high of 99.7 earlier in the month.
The consumer expectations index increased to 76.5 from 73.8.
The inflation expectations for the next 12 month in July dropped to 3.1% from 3.3% in the beginning of July.
Inflation expectations for the next 5-10 years declined to 2.8% from 2.9%.
