6 March 2013, 20:40  Bank of Canada left its key overnight rate at 1.00%

Bank of Canada left its key overnight rate at 1.00% Wednesday by proving that current stimulus policy is likely to be "appropriate for a period of time, after which some modest withdrawal will likely be required...".
This "modest" hikes are still exected once to take place after the bank acknowledging "material" excess capacity in the economy, lower than expected inflation, "constructive evolution of imbalances in the household sector", and weak export data.
