5 February 2013, 20:18  USA, IBD/TIPP: February economic optimism index rises to 47.3

IBD/TIPP reported Tuesday on slight rise in February economic optimism index to 47.3 vs 46.5 in January.
The personal financial outlook, showing US consumers attitude towards their own finance possibilities in the nearest 6 months, increased to 54.6. While their confidence in the US monetary policy declined 2.4% to 39.9.
The results are based on a national poll of 839 adults.
Numbers above 50 indicate optimism, and being below 50 indicate pessimism.
