The US budget deficit grew by 260 mln USD in December, according to the US Treasury Department.
The total deficit in 1Q of fiscal 2013 got to 292 bln USD.
Receipts in December were 269.5 bln USD, while the governmental spendings comprised 269.7 bln.
The deficit in December is 9% lower than the first three months of the prior fiscal year.
