The US Labor Department said Thursday that Jobless claims decreased by 25,000 to a seasonally adjusted 370,000 in the week ended Dec. 1.
The drop in new unemployment claims for the last week can result from some volatility typical for the end of the year.
For the week ended Nov. 24, new jobless claims were upwardly revised to 395,000 from the previously reported 393,000.
