According to Stat canada, the total value of building permits rose 15.0% to 7.5 billion canadian dollars in October, following a 12.7% decline in September.
The increase in building permits resulted from higher construction intentions for non-residential buildings. Construction intentions in the non-residential sector grew to 3.4 billion dollars, 50.3% increase vs 29.4% decrease in September.
