PMI rises from 51.0 to 52.8 in November The expansion of the U.S. manufacturing sector gained since October, with the final Markit Manufacturing Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) rising in November to its highest level in six months.
The growth signalled a moderate improvement in overall business conditions in the USA. PMI index reading above 50.0 signals an increase in comparisson to the prior month.
